Who sets the DOH exam date
Abu Dhabi's regulator decides whether you may sit, and only then does a date come into it. Your file is opened on TAMM (or by a sponsoring facility through Riayati), verified, and reviewed by DOH's licensing department. Approval for the exam is what lets you book, and the date is simply the Pearson VUE slot you then choose.
Follow the booking instructions DOH gives you with that approval, not a link found elsewhere, because the route into the booking system is tied to your DOH file. Senior grades can also be called to an interview panel after the written paper. For planning, the DOH timeline on this site lists the exam step as: slots typically 2 – 6 weeks out in Abu Dhabi. Treat that as typical, not promised.
Booking the DOH exam, in order

Start the file on TAMM or through Riayati
Individual applicants begin on TAMM. Where a facility is sponsoring you it will normally file through Riayati. Either way the application lands in the same DOH review queue.

Get Dataflow verification under way
DOH does not approve anyone for the exam until qualification, experience and good standing have been verified at source.

Receive DOH's approval for the exam
The approval, and any fee DOH asks you to settle before booking, appears in your DOH account. Read it closely: it names the paper you are cleared for.

Reserve the Pearson VUE seat
Use the booking route your regulator gives you to reach your Pearson VUE account, then select a centre, a date and a start time from what is free. Keep the confirmation email, and check your spam folder if it does not arrive.

Test day, then a panel if one applies
Carry the same passport you registered with plus the appointment confirmation, and be at the centre about half an hour before your start time. Bags, phones and watches stay in a locker. If your grade requires an interview panel, DOH schedules it after a pass in the written paper.

Does Abu Dhabi hold the DOH exam on set days?
No. There is no one date for all candidates. After DOH approves you for the exam you reserve an open Pearson VUE slot, so your date depends on when you are approved and which centre you choose. Check live availability in the booking system before you commit to anything.
Who delivers the DOH exam?
Our licensing data lists Pearson VUE as the test provider for DOH. The provider and the booking route are confirmed in the approval DOH sends you, and that message is the one to follow if it ever differs from what you read elsewhere.
Can I sit the DOH exam outside the UAE?
DOH exams are delivered by Pearson VUE. After DOH confirms your eligibility you book through the link in your TAMM account, and Pearson VUE's scheduler shows which test centres, in the UAE or abroad, are open to you. Check that list before you plan any travel.
