Who sets the QCHP exam date
Qatar's route begins with a job. A healthcare facility in Qatar opens your evaluation on the Department of Healthcare Professions portal, verification runs, and the outcome is an evaluation letter. That letter is what releases the Prometric assessment for your profession and grade. No national exam day exists.
Centres approved for the Qatar paper operate internationally, so you would normally sit before travelling. For planning, the QCHP timeline on this site lists the exam step as: 2 – 6 weeks depending on centre. Treat that as typical, not promised.

A Qatari employer opens the evaluation
The facility starts your professional evaluation on the DHP portal, which is why an offer usually comes before anything else.

Complete Dataflow verification
Verification for Qatar tends to be the slowest part of the route, and the evaluation cannot finish without it.

Receive the evaluation letter
The letter states the profession and grade you have been evaluated at, and it is what makes the assessment bookable.

Reserve the Prometric seat
Sign in to Prometric's website (or create an account), choose the programme for your regulator, then select a centre and one of the dates it shows as free. The exam fee is paid online at the same time.

Test day
Carry the same passport you registered with plus the appointment confirmation, and be at the centre about half an hour before your start time. Bags, phones and watches stay in a locker. Registration and licence activation follow a pass.

Can I sit the QCHP Prometric exam outside Qatar?
Yes. Once your evaluation letter is issued you can book any QCHP-authorised Prometric centre worldwide - India, Pakistan, Egypt, Philippines and the UAE all have centres.
