DHA Exam Dates

What you need before booking: An Eligibility ID issued in Sheryan
Who sets the DHA exam date
Dubai does not announce exam days. DHA clears you first, through its Sheryan portal, and the clearance arrives as an Eligibility ID. With that in hand you open Prometric's booking system and take whichever free slot suits you, so two candidates approved on the same morning can end up sitting weeks apart.
The seat does not have to be in Dubai. Centres approved for the DHA paper operate in many candidates' home countries, and a centre outside the UAE is sometimes free sooner than one inside it.
Booking the DHA exam, in order
- 1
Open a Sheryan account and load your documents
Sheryan is where DHA keeps your professional file. Everything that follows, including the eligibility decision, is issued from it.
- 2
Order Dataflow verification early
DHA reads the file only after your qualification, licence and experience have been verified at source. This is usually the longest wait in the process, so it should be running before you think about dates.
- 3
Wait for the Eligibility ID
DHA reviews the verified file and, if it is satisfied, issues the ID. Without it the booking system will not let you reserve a seat.
- 4
Reserve the Prometric seat
Sign in to Prometric's website (or create an account), choose the programme for your regulator, then select a centre and one of the dates it shows as free. The exam fee is paid online at the same time.
- 5
Test day
Carry the same passport you registered with plus the appointment confirmation, and be at the centre about half an hour before your start time. Bags, phones and watches stay in a locker. DHA candidates see their outcome on screen at the end of the session.

DHA exam dates: questions we are asked
Is there an official DHA exam timetable for 2026?
No. The DHA licensing paper runs on individual appointments, not on announced sittings. Once you hold an Eligibility ID you choose from the open Prometric slots, and what is open varies by centre and changes daily. Look at live availability in your Prometric account before fixing travel or a notice period.
Can I take the DHA exam in my home country?
Yes. Prometric operates in most countries. Once DHA issues your Eligibility ID, you can book any authorised Prometric centre worldwide.
What happens if I fail the DHA Prometric exam?
You can retake it, but there's a mandatory waiting period (typically 3 months) and after 3 failed attempts DHA may require additional training or a specialty review before further attempts.
