Physicians are licensed in three broad tiers across the GCC — General Practitioner, Specialist and Consultant — and the tier you're classified into determines both your exam blueprint and your salary band. Classification is based on your documented specialty years, not total years since graduation.
GP-tier candidates sit a broad general-medicine Prometric MCQ. Specialists sit a specialty-specific paper. Consultants in some authorities (notably DOH Abu Dhabi) may face an interview panel instead of, or in addition to, the written exam.

How do I join the GCC talent pool as a doctor?
Register on the talent pool page with your doctor qualification, registration details, years of experience and target countries, upload your CV and complete the one-time joining fee. Your profile is reviewed within 24 hours and then matched against live doctor vacancies.
Which GCC countries are hiring doctors?
Partner hospitals in United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait recruit doctors through the pool. Demand is highest in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, followed by Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Do I need a GCC licence before joining as a doctor?
No. Many doctors join while preparing for their DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP, NHRA or OMSB Prometric exam. Employers see your licence status and often shortlist candidates who are already in the process. Our team can run your eligibility check and licensing in parallel.
What qualifications do employers expect from doctors?
MBBS / MD or equivalent primary medical qualification from a recognised institution. Internship completion certificate. 2+ years post-internship experience for GP tier; board certification plus specialty years for Specialist/Consultant. Good Standing Certificate and valid home-country medical licence.
