OPE6113 is the DHA code for the Operation Theatre Technologist Prometric exam, and its published blueprint splits the paper across 5 areas: pre-operative preparation, intra-operative procedures, post-operative procedures, basic sciences and patient safety & ancillary duties. That list is the syllabus — questions are written to those headings from 7 named reference texts, so revision that ignores it is revision spent on the wrong material.

The sitting is 100 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours — about 1.2 minutes per question — delivered on computer at a Prometric test centre. The 55% pass mark works out at roughly 55 correct answers out of 100. Nothing is deducted for a wrong answer, so an unanswered question is the only guaranteed zero on the paper.

The technologist grade is examined a level above the technician paper, in both the depth of the science and the breadth of equipment covered.
