The NHRA pathway from India
Indian nurses and doctors are the largest single group of candidates sitting GCC Prometric exams every year — Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Punjab alone account for tens of thousands of applications. Common problems for Indian applicants
- State Nursing Council Good Standing letters that take 4–8 weeks to issue — request it before you start DataFlow so it's still inside the 6-month validity window
- NMC / State Medical Council registration in the old MCI format that verifiers can't match online
- Universities that respond slowly to DataFlow — deemed and private universities are usually faster than some older state universities
- Name mismatch between passport, degree certificate and council registration (a missing middle name or a different spelling is enough to stall DataFlow)
- Experience letters that don't state the hospital's bed count, your exact dates or the HR office contact details verifiers will phone
- Internship or house-job time counted as post-qualification experience — every GCC authority counts experience only after full registration
- Lapsed or un-renewed home-council registration at the time the Good Standing Certificate is requested
