- A valid UAE employment contract.
- An occupation in the first or second professional level of the MOHRE classification — health professionals with a licence generally fall here.

The UAE has run targeted Golden Visa programmes for healthcare workers — frontline staff after the pandemic, and in Dubai a route for nurses with long service in the emirate (the announced threshold was 15 years), nominated through the health authority and employer. These programmes are by nomination rather than open application, so ask your hospital's HR whether you are eligible.
