Which Egyptian qualifications are accepted?

Doctors

• MBBCh + internship (house officer year) + Egyptian Medical Syndicate registration — General Practitioner with 1–2 years' post-internship experience.
• Master's degree (MSc) in a clinical specialty — recognised as a specialist qualification by SCFHS (Registrar/Senior Registrar depending on experience) and under the UAE PQR for Specialist with 3+ years' post-Master's experience. Some UAE authorities have required an additional qualification or interview for Master's-only holders; check your title.
• MD (doctorate) in a clinical specialty — full Specialist / Consultant-track qualification everywhere; Consultant with 3–5 years' post-MD experience.
• Egyptian Fellowship (Egyptian Board) — recognised as a specialist qualification by SCFHS and the UAE authorities.
• Arab Board — recognised throughout the GCC as a specialist qualification; SCFHS treats it as equivalent to the Saudi Board for many specialties.

• BSc Nursing (4-year faculty) + Nursing Syndicate registration — Registered Nurse; Nurse Specialist in Saudi Arabia.
• Technical Institute of Nursing (2-year) diploma — accepted as Nurse Technician by SCFHS and as Assistant/Practical Nurse by some UAE authorities; generally not as Registered Nurse in the UAE and Qatar.
• Secondary nursing school (3-year) diploma — Nurse Technician in Saudi Arabia; limited acceptance elsewhere.

Dentists and allied health

• BDS + Dental Syndicate — General Dentist (guide); Master's/MD in a dental specialty — Specialist.
