The NHRA process for nurses, step by step
- NHRA e-services file. Created by you or, more often, by the Bahraini hospital recruiting you. You choose the profession (Nursing) and title, upload documents and pay the evaluation fee. 1–3 days.
- DataFlow. NHRA sends your degree, registration and experience letters for primary source verification. 5–8 weeks. A DataFlow report already completed for another GCC authority can often be reused (DataFlow guide, experience letter format).
- Evaluation and eligibility. NHRA reviews the file and the DataFlow report and issues exam eligibility. 1–2 weeks.
- Prometric exam. Book at any Prometric centre offering the NHRA programme — Manama, or centres across India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Egypt and the UAE. 2–4 weeks to find a seat.
- Licence. Issued once a Bahraini facility sponsors you. 1–2 weeks, followed by the work visa and CPR (Bahrain ID) card.
