DHA Pharmacist Exam Preparation Online 2026: The PHO5481 Question Bank, Calculations and Law, Timed Mock Tests, a 6-Week Plan and Costs in INR, PKR and EGP

How pharmacists prepare online for the DHA Prometric exam in 2026: the PHO5481 paper's format and blueprint, the 3,000-question chaptered bank with calculations, interactions and pharmacy law, three timed mocks, a six-week plan, the clinical pharmacy bank for Pharm.D holders, and the cost in AED, INR, PKR and EGP.

The DHA pharmacist exam is passable for any pharmacist who prepares the three areas most candidates skip: calculations, interactions and the law of practice. Pharmacology alone is not enough. This guide covers the paper, the PHO5481 bank, a six-week plan and the cost.

The DHA pharmacist exam

ItemDetail
Exam codePHO5481 Pharmacist; PHO5482 Clinical Pharmacy for clinical pharmacist titles; PHT5451 for pharmacy technicians
Format100 to 150 single-best-answer MCQs in 2 to 3 hours
Pass markAbout 60%
FeeAbout USD 240, roughly INR 21,000 (DHA fees)

The same code is used by MOHAP and SHA and the blueprint matches SCFHS (SPLE), QCHP, NHRA and OMSB, so the preparation carries over (GCC pharmacist exam guide).

The blueprint

  • Pharmacology and pharmacotherapy: the largest share, by organ system.
  • Pharmaceutical calculations: doses by weight, dilutions, infusion rates, percentage strengths, alligation.
  • Drug interactions, adverse effects, contraindications, pregnancy and renal dosing.
  • Pharmaceutics, compounding, storage and stability.
  • Dispensing, counselling and patient safety.
  • Pharmacy law, ethics and controlled drugs.

The PHO5481 bank

The Pharmacist bank has about 3,000 questions in 32 chapters, each with a detailed explanation, plus three full-length timed mocks and unlimited retries for three months. Chapter 1 is a free 15-question preview. Pharm.D holders applying as clinical pharmacists should use the Clinical Pharmacy bank, about 4,400 questions with a heavier therapeutics load (clinical pharmacist guide). Diploma holders sit the technician paper: Pharmacy Technician bank.

Fifteen free questions in the exam style, with rationale, are in pharmacist sample questions.

A six-week plan

WeekFocus
1Free preview, baseline block, cardiovascular and endocrine pharmacotherapy
2Infectious disease, respiratory, GI, CNS pharmacotherapy; 30 calculation problems
3Interactions, adverse effects, renal and pregnancy dosing; mock 1
4Pharmaceutics, compounding, dispensing, counselling; 30 more calculations
5Law, ethics, controlled drugs; weakest domains; mock 2

Calculations are the cheapest marks on the paper: a dozen questions that are pure method. Practise until a dilution takes under a minute.
