DataFlow Verification Explained: Documents, Timeline & Common Rejections
What DataFlow primary source verification is, which documents GCC authorities require, how long it really takes, and the five mistakes that get applications rejected or delayed.
Before any GCC authority lets you near a Prometric exam, your credentials must survive DataFlow primary source verification (PSV) — an independent check that contacts your university, licensing board and past employers directly. Here's how to get through it without losing months.
What DataFlow actually verifies
- Education — degree certificate and final transcript, confirmed with the issuing university
- Licence — your home-country professional registration
- Experience — employment certificates, confirmed with each employer's HR
- Good standing — certificate from your current regulator
- Identity — passport copy
Realistic timeline
Official guidance says 15–25 working days. In practice, 30–60 days is common — universities that respond slowly are the usual bottleneck. Start DataFlow the moment you decide on a GCC move; it runs in parallel with everything else.
The five most common rejection reasons
1. Name mismatches
Your name must be identical across passport, degree and experience letters. Even a missing middle name triggers a discrepancy flag — attach a name-variation affidavit up front if yours differ.
2. Unverifiable employers
Closed hospitals or HR departments that never reply. Provide alternate contacts (registered email, official phone) and a manager reference letter as backup.
3. Wrong document versions
Provisional degrees instead of final certificates, or transcripts missing the university seal. Always upload the final, stamped version.
4. Expired good-standing certificates
Most authorities want a certificate issued within the last 6 months. Time your request accordingly.
5. Gaps in experience
Unexplained gaps longer than 6 months invite queries. Cover them with a simple gap statement or supporting documents.
Fees
Expect USD 200–320 depending on the authority package and how many documents you verify. Extra employers/degrees cost more, so verify what your target authority requires — no more, no less.
Get it right the first time
A rejected PSV wastes both the fee and 4–8 weeks. Our licensing consultants pre-audit your file, fix discrepancies before submission and chase verifications for you — while you focus on exam prep.
