Acupuncture Practitioner Prometric Exam

PAC6092 is the DHA code for the Acupuncture Practitioner Prometric exam, and its published blueprint splits the paper across 7 areas: foundations of oriental medicine, acupuncture and point location, biomedicine, diagnosis and assessment, treatment techniques, safety and ethics and clinical practice. That list is the syllabus — questions are written to those headings from 5 named reference texts, so revision that ignores it is revision spent on the wrong material.

The sitting is 100 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours — about 1.2 minutes per question — delivered on computer at a Prometric test centre. The 60% pass mark works out at roughly 60 correct answers out of 100. Nothing is deducted for a wrong answer, so an unanswered question is the only guaranteed zero on the paper.

The paper is sat by TCIM practitioners applying for a licence under the Acupuncture Practitioner professional title. This is a practitioner-grade licence, examined within its own regulated scope of practice.
