Kuwait pays nurses well and has a steady demand from Ministry of Health hospitals, oil-sector medical services and a growing private sector. The route is different from the UAE in one important way: you cannot start it on your own. A Kuwaiti employer opens the licensing file, and residency processing runs alongside the licence. Eligibility for a Kuwait nursing licence

Also required: current home registration, a Good Standing Certificate within six months, BLS, and often IELTS or OET for private employers (English requirements). The process, step by step
- Job offer and employer file. A Kuwait-licensed facility opens your MOH licensing file. Government postings depend on staffing quotas, so ask the employer to confirm an open slot for your cadre before you pay for anything. 1–3 weeks.
- Attestation. Kuwait is strict on the full chain: home Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then the Kuwait embassy in the country that issued the degree, then Kuwait MOFA (usually handled by the employer's mandoub). An apostille alone is not accepted. Start this immediately — some embassies take 3–4 weeks.

- Evaluation and exam eligibility. 2–3 weeks.
- Prometric exam. Any Prometric centre offering the Kuwait MOH programme — including centres across India, the Philippines, Egypt and the Gulf. 2–5 weeks to book.
- Licence and residency. Licence issuance runs partly in parallel with visa, medical and civil ID. 3–6 weeks.
